He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Engstrom and Mollie Engstrom (Schwartz); his wife Harlean Yekel; and his siblings, Tom Engstrom, John Engstrom (Ann) and Nancy.
He is survived by: his son Russell Engstrom; his uncle Bob Schwartz (Myla); his aunt Dorothy Sticker; and his sister-in-law JoAnn Engstrom. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be given to Alzheimer's Association.
