We bid farewell to Carolyn M. Rose of Scotia, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 28, 2025 at the age of 87. Carolyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Thompson and Neoma Thompson (Cadwell); her husband Donald Rose; her son James; and her son-in-law Jerry.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Hickmon (Tamela) of Richland, NE, Roy L. Hickmon, Deb Wallace of Seward, NE, Sandra Chapin (Gordie) of York and Cindy Finley of Kearney, NE. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Metz Mortuary (109 S Lincoln Ave, York, NE 68467). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Metz Chapel (109 S Lincoln Ave, York, NE 68467).
Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
