She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Bayer and Irene Bayer (Adams); her husband Mel; and her uncle Glen Adams. She is survived by: her former husband Melvin J. Evert; her daughter Renee Novacek (David City); her grandchildren, Mitch Novacek (David City) and Kyle Novacek (Lincoln); her daughter Sandra Christo (Albion); her grandchildren, Rebecca Connerley (Lexington) and Jesse Brichacek (Columbus); her daughter Victoria Faltys (Giltner); her grandchildren, Kalib and Zachary; her daughter Sophie (Giltner); her great grandchildren, Jett Connerley, Carmyn Connerley, Raelea Brichacek and Mavrik Brichacek; her sisters, Janet Quist (Raleigh), Kay Mulford (Fremont) and Dawn Holtz; and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Jedlicka (Fremont), Lavonne Evert, Carol Jedlicka (Wahoo) and Duane Evert (Estelle). She is also survived by four step-grandchildren, five step great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other relatives, and many, many friends.
Visitation Wednesday 9:30-10:30 A. M. at the church, Committal in the Schuyler Cemetery, Memorials in care of the family for future designation, Covid Restrictions Apply Sharon ("Shari") Rose Evert (named after the "Rose of Sharon") was born March 13, 1941, in Columbus, Nebraska, to Bernard and Irene (Adams) Bayer.
