She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard L. Vosika and Patty Lou Vosika (Heunink); and her father-in-law Frank E Sobota. She is survived by: her husband Stephen A. Sobota of Schuyler, NE; her sons, Michael J. Sobota (Nicole Burch) of Ceresco, NE and Stephen R. Sobota of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Seeley, Beau, Stevie Marie of Phoenix, JJ and Phoebe; her brother Scott Vosika (Deb) of Omaha, NE; her mother-in-law Jean Sobota of Columbus, NE; and her siblings-in-law, Scott Sobota (Kelsey) of La Honda, CA, Dr. Kristi Sobota of Columbus, NE, Katie Sobota of Columbus, NE, Michele Arndt (Roderick) of Lincoln, NE, Camille Rose (Adam) of Sterling, CO and Heidi Field (Blaine) of Monroe, NE. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Augustine's Catholic Church (619 Banner St, Schuyler, NE 68661). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Augustine's Social Hall (604 Chicago St, Schuyler, NE 68661). A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery (1733 Rd 12, Clarkson, NE 68629).
Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
