He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Svoboda and Gertrude Svoboda; his siblings, Amos Jr., Mary Alice Rea (Francis), Sally Barry and Suzanne Svoboda; and his brother-in-law John Reinecke.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Christine Svoboda Theresa (Joseph Worthing), Terrence Svoboda (Kurstin), Kathleen Franco, John Svoboda (Maria) and Julianne Stedwill (Jeff); his sisters, Margaret Reinecke and Elizabeth Svoboda; and his brother-in-law Glenn Barry. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
