He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Brichacek and Milo Sr. Brichacek; his brother Milo; his sister-in-law Dorothy Brichacek; his parents-in-law, Everett and Elizabeth Ostrander; his brother Kenneth; his sister-in-law Joann Ostrander; his nephews, Blaine Sidders and Brian Flynn; and his brother-in-law John Flynn.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ostrander; his children, Kevin (Kendell Brichacek), Kenneth Brichacek (Holly Tichota), Sandy (Brad Renner) and Nancy (Clint Faltys); and his brother Dennis (Linda Brichacek).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (1019 Banner St, Schuyler, NE 68661). A rosary was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Schuyler Cemetery (903 W 5th St, Schuyler, NE 68661). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Social Center (320 W 10th St, Schuyler, NE 68661).
