He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Burns and Vivian Burns (Arnold); his spouse Delma Krueger; and his siblings, Dick, Russ, Ray Burns and JoAnn Weber.
He is survived by: his siblings, Roland (Wilma) of Salem, Roy of Salem, Tom, Dorothy Costa of Utah, Carol Clark of San Antonio, TX and Frances Burns of Falls City. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and a great-grandson.
