He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Brown and Ruby Purcell (Purcell); his grandson Wayne Brown; and his brother Harold "Gene" Brown. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Zane and Madison Pingel of Mapleton Iowa; his siblings, Rocky Brown (Candy), Billy Brown (Lynn), Tony Brown (Barb) of Salem, NE, Kathy Olsen of Salem, NE and Melissa Hall (Mike) of Fremont, NE; and his girlfriend Laurie Young of Salem, NE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
