Ronald E. Swanson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald E. Swanson of Saint Paul, Nebraska, who passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Swanson and Esther Swanson (Nielsen); his siblings, Kenneth, Harold and Lana; and his brothers-in-law, Lyle Rasmussen and Lloyd Pedersen.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Pedersen; his sons, Mike Swanson (Rachel) of Melbourne, Steve Swanson (Pamela) of Aurora, Douglas Swanson (Julie) of St. Paul and Jason Swanson (Jennifer) of Benton, Arkansas; his siblings, Linda Fuller (Mel) and Bill Swanson of St. Paul; his siblings-in-law, Leona Swanson of St. Paul, Liz Pedersen of Gibbon and Glenn Pedersen (Patty) of St. Paul; his uncle Paul Nielsen of Wolbach; and his aunts, Sue Nielsen of Kearney and Hazel Nielsen of St. Paul. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
