She was predeceased by: her parents, William Popple and Etta Popple (Soderquist); her husband Bud; her siblings, Colleen (Herb Warnken), Sandy (Jerry Johnson), Max, Bradley, Michael, Brent and Brian; and her brothers-in-law, Paul Murdoch, Karl Gugel and Gordon Soneson (Lucille).
She is survived by: her children, Lori (Kevin Schmidt), Timothy (Belinda Soneson), Mark (Jeanine Soneson) and Robert (Donna Soneson); her grandchildren, Eric (Taryn), Dustin, Ethan Schmidt (Rachel), Nicholas Kolnik (Jim), Jessica Meyer (Jeremy), Jennifer Higgins (Mike), Trevor Soneson, Andrew (Lynn), Jon Soneson (Katie Fore), Kaleigh Soneson and Geoffrey Soneson; her great grandchildren, Zuri, Olin, Lyra, Otto, Mackenzie, Landon, Grae, Axon, Tyson, Jaxin, Reagan, McKinley, Lincoln and Monroe; her siblings, Frank Popple (Margo), Edward Popple (Carol) and Vickie Erickson; and her sisters-in-law, Lois Popple, Johanna Popple, Maureen Popple, Ardyce Murdoch and Marline Gugel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (1306 Howard Ave, St Paul, NE 68873). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Elmwood Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Howard County Medical Center Foundation, St. Mark's Church or the Elba United Methodist Church.
