We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2022, at the age of 92, Lola Jean Sperling of Saint Paul, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Pedersen and Elnor Pedersen (Christensen); her husband Melvin Sperling; her sisters, Shirley Lanka, Joan Christensen, Phyllis Gebhardt and Loraine Wozniak; and her daughter-in-law Kathy Sperling.
She is survived by: her children, Theda Wilsey (Roy) of Salem, S. D., Dorothy Schultz (Ron) of Wood River, Dennis Sperling (Marjorie) of St. Paul and Melvin Sperling (Connie) of Grand Island; her siblings, Kathryn Dubas of Fullerton and Clayton Pedersen (Geraldine) of St. Paul; and her siblings-in-law, Pat Moss of Wood River, NE, Kay Stoppokette (Milt) of Chapman, NE, Linda Johnson (Vern) of Chappell, NE and Robert Sperling of Grand Island, NE. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or to the American Legion.
