He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bonnell Kunkel (Lynn); his sons, John Jr. (Robin), David (Theresa) and Mark; his grandson Adam (Rena); his great grandchildren, Noa and Benjamin; his daughter-in-law Cheryl; and also Dorothy Kunkel.
