He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Goettsche and Florence Goettsche (Nelson); and his grandparents, William, Mini Goettsche, Gus and Louise Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Corey Goettsche (JoHanna) of Lincoln and Keri Goettsche of Aurora; his granddaughter Anna Goettsche; his siblings, Roger Goettsche (Barb) of St. Paul, Rick Goettsche (Linda) of St. Paul, Pam Nielsen (Bob) of St. Paul, Todd Goettsche of St. Paul and Shellie Yax (Tom McCleary) of Grand Island; and his nieces and nephews, Shannon Bond, Roger, Erin Goettsche, Tony, Becca Goettsche, Sarah Goettsche, Ashlie, Brian Peters, Jon, Alison Nielsen, Jason Hatt, Jared, Cortney Nielsen, David Hatt, Misti Kelly (Pat) and Michael Yax (Jackie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
