It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlis Rex Canfield of Saint Paul, Nebraska, born in Rose, Nebraska, who passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Palmer Canfield and Mabel Canfield (Ainsworth); his parents-in-law, Frank and Steffie Parkos Sr. (Hasek); his siblings, John Francis, Palmer, Arthur, George, Eldon, Lillie, Pearl, Bessie, Mary and Bonnie; and his son-in-law Bill Michels.
He is survived by: his wife Blanche Canfield; his children, Charlene Ackerman of St. Paul, NE, Debra Michels of Kodak, TN, Duane Canfield (Valerie) of Santa Rosa, CA and Terri Lawver (Rick) of St. Paul, NE; and his grandchildren, Kaylene Coughennower (Chad) of Altoona, IA, D. J. Canfield (Jen) of North Platte, NE, Kenny Southard (Betty) of Kodak, TN, Cheryl Stepp (Thomas) of Kodak, TN, Brandy Southard of Knoxville, TN, Paige Brumbaugh (Dustin) of St. Paul, NE, Taylor Lawver (Taylor Umstead) of Shelby, NE and Kathleen Werner (Canfield). He is also survived by grandkids, 20 step-great grandkids; and two step-great-great grandkids.
