With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Helen E. Greenwalt of Saint Libory, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry B. Volkl and Marie M. Volkl (Suehlsen); her husband Gene; and her brothers, Leo Volkl and Paul Volkl.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen (Tony Grotzky), Janet (Clark Ritz) and Susan (Jerry Milner); and her grandchildren, Jeremy, Raelynn Grotzky, Michelle, Larry Gydesen, Rachel, Jon Wade, Brandon, Jessica Grotzky, Kelsey, John Jaeschke, Jordan Ritz, Rhett Milner and Mollie Milner. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Libory's Catholic Church (505 Spruce St, St Libory, NE 68872). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Libory's Catholic Cemetery (505 Spruce St, St Libory, NE 68872).
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
