She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Jr. Ketter; her sister Bonnie Walter; her nephew Joshua Wipf; and her grandmother Oda Schutonus. She is survived by: her grandchild Odin; her mother Betty Ketter (Jacobson) of Yankton; her former husband Robert Schaefer; her husband Fred Roper of St. Helena, Nebraska; her children, Laura Swanson (Kenny) of Yankton and Michael Schaefer of Omaha, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Eli (Odin) and Coconut (Dolce); and her siblings, Connie Wipf (Joe) of Yankton and Joe Ketter (Barb) of Yankton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID restrictions face coverings and social distancing guidelines will be required to attend the service.
