He was predeceased by: his parents, William O. Schumacher and Louise Schumacher (Dorr); his siblings, Ramona Schumacher, Bob and Jerry Schumacher; and his brother-in-law Keith Speicher.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Prorok-Kmiecik; his children, John Kmiecik (Cindy) of Omaha, NE, Gina Baker (Dave) of St. Edward, NE, Matt Schumacher (Rajeana) of Galena, KS and Paul Schumacher (Diane) of St. Edward, NE; his siblings, Jim Schumacher of North Platte, NE, Rosemary Speicher of Omaha, NE and Jane Jarecki (Ron) of Fort Charlotte, FL; and his sister-in-law Sherry Schumacher of Worland, WY. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family is requesting that you wear masks at the visitation and funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family or the St. Edward Community Center.
