It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Martin of Saint Edward, Nebraska, born in Broken Bow, Nebraska, who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Martin and Anna J. Martin (Null); his wife Roma Martin; and his siblings, Paul, Dean, Soapy, Dick Martin, Fran Ball and Opal Carver.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Martin (Linda Knutson) of Olympia, WA, Pam Bly (Gale) of Shelton, NE, Judy Pettigrew of St. Edward, NE, Jeff Martin (Sandy) of Albion, NE and Kevin Martin (Kathy) of Cairo, NE; his grandson Aaron Bly (Kerri) of Kenesaw, NE; his children, Krista Nykodym of Norfolk, NE, Brooke Bly of Shelton, NE, Brandon Pettigrew of West Chicago, IL, Tyson Martin (Kelly) of Lincoln, NE, Dustin Martin (Courtney) of Albion, NE, Susan Schultz (Jonathon) of Arkansas City, KS, Cortney Jarzynka (Judd) of Ashton, NE, Brandie Rosander (Mike) of Wolbach, NE and Jeremy Ostermeier (Heather) of Chambers, NE; his brother-in-law Rodney Leesman of Southbridge, MA; and his friend Martie Anderson of Albion, NE. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
