He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Farmer and Lillian Farmer (Jacobs); and his siblings, Donna Jackson, Joyce Tutsch and David Farmer.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Twila; his wife Maxine Farmer (Noble); his children, Rex Farmer (Melissa) and Twila Walker (Dee); his grandchildren, Tyler Farmer (Lauren), Trey Farmer (Tiffany) and Ashton Walker; his great grandchildren, Grant Farmer, Blake Farmer, Walter Farmer, Oliver Farmer and Theodore Farmer; and his sisters, Shirley Claussen and Marilyn Brooks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests making a donation to the American Cancer Society.
