He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hood and Audrey Hood; and his brother Jerry Hood. He is survived by: his spouse Donna Myers; his children, Alice Otte (David) of Gordon, Rhonda Seybert (Jim) of Arroyo Grande and Neal Hood (Cathy) of Gordon; his grandchildren, Aaron Otte of Georgetown, Noelle Seybert of Los Angeles, Kayla Otte of Denver, Taylor Hood of Lincoln, Samuel Hood of Gordon and Matthew Hood of Gordon; his siblings, Darleen Martin of Rapid City, Karen Keyser (Bill) of Rapid City and Bill Hood of Gordon; and also Donna of Rushville.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Rushville or the Rushville Rescue Unit and donations may be sent in care of Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home, PO Box 366 Gordon, NE 69343.
