It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gunnar Riis (Rushville, Nebraska), who passed away on March 31, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his spouse Lottie Grass; and his stepsons, Kevan Trenkle (Cindy) and Cecil Trenkle (Mary). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as a great number of friends.
A memorial has been established for the Rushville American Legion, the Rushville Volunteer Fire Department or for the Morse Memorial Methodist Church and donations may be sent in care of Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home, PO Box 366 Gordon, NE 69343.
