She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charlotte Eleanor Lewis and Walter Carl Maltsberger; her husband Loyd Burton; her children, Charlotte Pudelko (Stephen), Elizabeth Hunter (Roger), Kimberley Denton (Ronald), Katherine Burton (Dewayne), Benjamin Burton (Wendy) and Rosemarie Burton; her great grandchild Angel; her sister Janet Erickson; and her sister-in-law Betty M. Burton of Alliance. She was also cherished by 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for PEO Cottey College and the Morse Memorial Methodist Church in Rushville, and donations may be sent to Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home, PO Box 366, Gordon, NE 69343.
