He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cerny and Georgia Cerny (Novotny); his wife Mary; and his siblings, Rose Jacobsen (Ben), Emily Cerny, Frances Van Briggle (Lowell), Hester Winter (Rudy), Joseph (Evelyn), Fred (Alma), George (Lottie) and Franklin Cerny.
He is survived by: his son Allen (Janice) of Ogallala, NE.; his grandsons, Jason Cerny (Melissa), Brandon Cerny (Julie) of College Station, TX and Dillon Cerny of Ogallala, NE.; his great grandchildren, Abbigail, Alexander, Stella and Lyla Cerny; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Mya, Marley and David Rupp.
