Edward Joseph Bourg Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2025, at the age of 93, Edward Joseph Bourg of Roseland, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, A. G. "Gus" Bourg and Anne Bourg (Diederich). He is survived by: his children, Stephanie, Bruce Mantle, Teresa Matzdorff, Loveland, Robin Bourg, Roseland and Jane Bourg; his siblings, Marlene DeHart and James (Linda Bourg); and his extended family, Bryan Rynearson, Pat, Diane Rynearson and Hastings. He is also survived by Grandchildren: 6 Great-Grandchildren, daughter Danielle Numerous Nieces, Nephews, other extended family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (11818 W Alexander St, Roseland, NE 68973). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Chorus of the Plains, or Morrison Cancer Center.
