It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Hanisch (Rockville, Nebraska), born in Saint Paul, Nebraska, who passed away on January 2, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Richard G. and Florence E. Hanisch; and his son Nathan. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Blachnik; his daughter Natalie; and his sisters, Kay Lehman of Marion, Jean Vollbracht of Keller and Janel Reimers of Lincoln, Neb.

“met Steve when he moved to Rockville and farmed is fathers ground as years went by we would cross paths on occasion Steve would fell the need to pull his pistol on me shooting a few rounds around me as time went on we hardly saw each other but such is life with his breathing issues at the end he labored to set traps Steve really enjoyed trapping and caught considerable amounts of fur in his younger days may he be in peace now with his family members - Jake”
