He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert O. Fredrickson and Edna Heller Fredrickson; and his sister Joan Nienkamp. He is survived by: his wife Jane Fredrickson; his children, Linnea Fredrickson and Karl Fredrickson (Lou); his granddaughters, Melanie Mueller (Jeff) and Stephanie Bradley (Mike); and his great grandchildren, Logan, Gabby, Kaiden and Alexis. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

His church and conservation were important to him, so memorials are suggested to Westminster Presbyterian Church or Wachiska Audubon Society, both in Lincoln.
