With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard D. Ruth of Rising City, Nebraska, born in Shelby, Nebraska, who passed away on December 8, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlin Dean Ruth and Estella Ruth (Pool). He is survived by: his children, Barton Dean and Tamara Layne; his wife Elaine of Rising City; his daughter Lynne Ruth (Blair) of Rising City; his great grandchildren, Geoffrey and Christa Ruth (Moon); and his sister Marlene Suddarth-Wyant (Fred Wyant) of York. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Following the state COVID-19 guidelines and due to increasing COVID positive numbers, we will comply with social distancing seating and limited room capacity at the Funeral Service.

IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, PLANTS OR STATUES, Memorials may be given In Care of the Family.
