He is survived by: his children, Catherine Pohl (Tom) of Bruno, Gary Novak (LaRee) of Rising City, Tony Novak (Kendra) of Rising City and Mary Sempek (Andy) of Rising City; his grandchildren, Connie Samek (Scott), Michelle Ploeger (Dustin), Dee Hanson (Derek), Jennifer Lowe (Andrew), Bridget Reed (Jack), Taylor Novak, Shayla Novak, Mitchell Sutton (Sheree) and Kacy Schmid (Aaron); his sister LaDean Gibbs of Omaha; and his brother-in-law Duard Moore.
