He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Opal McCully (Roberts) and James Robert McCully; his son Christopher Cole McCully; his siblings, Gladys Yvonne "Tootsie" Foster (Frostie) and Ken McCully; and his sister-in-law Donna McCully.
He is survived by: his son Jon David "J. D."; his wife Bonnie McCully of Republican City; his son J. D. McCully (Jessica) of Sioux City, Iowa; his stepson Fred Perlin of Martin; his grandchildren, Keygan McCully, Callen McCully and Tyler Chinen; and his siblings, Sandy Lylte (Dan) of Rocky Ford, Colorado, Wanda Behm (Tom) of Bailey, Colorado and Don McCully of Akron, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in Jimmie's honor.
