He was predeceased by: his parents, Haskell Waldo and Cartha Mae Waldo (Gifford); and his parents-in-law, Fred Hauserman and Doris Hauserman. He is survived by: his wife Marlys Waldo of Parson's House; his children, Dwight Waldo (Missy) of Republican City, Julie Waldo (Joe), Christy Ferguson (John) of Omaha and Michael Waldo (Alana) of Alma; his grandchildren, Abigail, Jack Waldo, John, James Ferguson, Cameron and Emilia Waldo; his sister Jane Waldo Reck (Gerald) of Bellevue, Nebraska; and his brother-in-law Larry Hauserman (Deborah) of Golden, Colorado. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; extended family; and many friends.
Due to health concerns, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic; current CDC and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for Faith-Based Services will be followed.
A memorial has been established in Jerry's honor and will be designated to: the Republican City United Methodist Church or the Good Samaritan Society - Colonial Villa in Alma.
