With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Nelson Douglas of Republican City, Nebraska, who passed away on September 18, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis S. Douglas and Ester Douglas (Koerwitz); his grandson Jesse Pratt; and his brothers, Ellis L. Douglas, Jr. and Luther.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Maul of Republican City; his children, Mitchell Douglas (Elena) of Glendale, AZ, Kevin Douglas (Audrey) of Hastings and Denise Douglas of Omaha; his grandson Patrick Douglas (Cheri) of Newport News, VA; his great grandchildren, Jaylen, Crystalynn, Leilani and Anna Douglas of Dallas, TX; his sisters, Audrey Pearson (Darrel) and Rosalie Zimmerman; his siblings-in-law, Dallas Dierfeldt (Patti), Jerry Dierfeldt (Sun), Patricia Johnson and Harrett Draughn; and also, Bryanna, Jayden, Bryan, Jayma, Kyle Douglas (Emily) of Nashville, TN, Miller and Sara Douglas of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
