He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaylord Wassung and Bertha Wassung (Wevers); his wife Geraldine (Campbell); and his sisters, Nancy Fiedler and Julie Roberts.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Brett Carnito (Maria) and Danielle Carnito; his siblings, Diane Steinhausen (Randy) and Douglas Wassung (Ying); and his sister-in-law Ruth Gregg (Darryl). He is also survived by nine nephews and three nieces.
