He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Lovejoy and Clara Lovejoy (Lambrecht). He is survived by: his child Jerry of Hastings, Nebraska; his wife Bonnie Lovejoy of Red Cloud, Nebraska; and his children, Earlene Wulf of Central City, Nebraska, Dave Lovejoy of Inavale, Nebraska and Roger Lovejoy of Hastings, Nebraska. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Webster County Youth Foundation.
