He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Duval and Christena Duval (Thompson); and his siblings, Elton, Clayton, Ilene Hermanson and Dasie Erickson.
He is survived by: his wife Valeria Mae Kuhlman of Campbell; his daughters, Cynthia Erickson (Larry) of Red Cloud, Jody Hersh (Rodger) of Red Cloud and Becky Hinrichs (Clinton) of Trumbull; his sister-in-law Jean Duval of Bandon, Oregon; and his grandchildren, Krystal Zimmerman (Ryan), Brandon Hersh (Marci), Jacob Heinrich, Rachel Heinrich, John Larson and Lucas Hinrichs. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
