He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight C. Theobald and Mary Evelyn Theobald (Munn); his wife Elizabeth; his daughter Jo Ann; his siblings, Don Theobald (Phyllis) and Joan Reed (Duane); and his siblings-in-law, Bernard Keane (Millie), James Keane (Adeie), Emmett Keane, Joe Keane (Wilma), Mary O'Reilly (Peter) and Patricia Esser (Clem).
He is survived by: his children, Jane McClelland (Tom), Jeri Peterson (Brad), Don Theobald (Teri), Ted Theobald (JoAnne) and Dan Theobald (Cynthia); and his son-in-law Keith Koler.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a memorial to the Webster County Historical Museum or the Cowles American Legion.
