He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar Bouwens and Janiece Bouwens (Koso); his wife Carrie (Wescott); his children, Michelle Vaughan (Evan) and Benjamin Bouwens (Chelsea); his grandchildren, Clare, Maren Vaughan, Lexi and Levi Bouwens; his siblings, Susan Rockenbach (Richard), Donald Bouwens (Sandy) and David Bouwens (Donna); his uncle Clarence Bouwens (Janet); his aunt Cathy Oenbring; his brother-in-law Steve Ward; his parents-in-law, John and Joyce Wescott; and his sister-in-law Nancy Ward. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of wonderful friends.
