He is survived by: his mother Sylvia Joslin Rutten (Musquiz) of Cedar Rapids, NE; his former wife Nicole Greger; his children, Levi Jacob, Terrence Rutten of Belgrade, NE, Brielle and Gunner Rutten of Raymond, NE; his fiancé Kelsey Marshalek of Raymond, NE; his father Jay Rutten; his sisters, Sara Ruda (Zack) of Atwood, KS and Diane Stromp (Adam) of Greeley, NE; his brother-in-law Brendon Marshalek (Angela) of Ceresco, NE; his nieces and nephews, River Stromp, Wyatt Ruda, Lane, Charlotte and Emma Marshalek; and his godparents, Annie Hellbusch and Sam Rutten. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In consideration of the COVID-19 restrictions currently in place, there will be a private family service held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, NE with Rev. Brian Ketelsen officiating.
