He was predeceased by: his parents, Hal Barr and Nell Barr (Hartstack); his wife Barbara; his daughter Chandra Clanton; and his brothers, Robert and Lowell Barr.
He is survived by: his son J. B. Barr (Julie); his grandchildren, Noah, Luke Barr, Harrison and Drew Clanton; and his sister Barb Nothwehr (Lyle) of Clarinda, IA.
