He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sr. Gatzemeyer and Patricia Gatzemeyer (Coan); his siblings, Theresa Merkley, Steve Gatzemeyer Sr., Lisa Gatzemeyer and Raymond Gatzemeyer Jr.; his grandson Benjamin Brown; and his great-nephew Raymond Gatzemeyer.
He is survived by: his wife Michele Gatzemeyer of Sioux City; his children, Ben Johnson (Mikki) of Pittsburg, KS, Shanelle Johnson (Connor Jarman) of Kearney, NE and Zach Johnson (Sarah) of Sioux City; his grandchildren, Adalyn, Amelia, Quinn, Harper and Darcy; his great grandchild June; his siblings, DeAnna Woehler (William), Ricky Gatzemeyer (Johnette), Ann Gilmore, Tammi Seger and Billy Gatzemeyer (Jessica Denney); his sister-in-law Stephanie Gatzemeyer; and also Corinne Malzer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
