She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Lott and Alene Lott (Ingleright). She is survived by: her husband Glen Newland of Ravenna; her sons, Justin Newland of Grand Island and Joel Newland of Ravenna; and her siblings, Jolene Andersen of Stromsburg and Kirk Lott of Lincoln.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
