The passing of Loretta L. Fierstein of Ravenna, Nebraska leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 19, 2025 at the age of 94. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Thurnau and Lousie Thurnau (Hundt); her son Michael Dean; her great grandchildren, Robert Rash and Jamisyn Musil; her half-sister Marie Sophie Engle; and her sisters, Alma Todd, Doris Ruhs and Gladys Jurgens.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Rash (Dwight) of Kearney, Wanda Larsen (Leland) of Ravenna, Bruce Fierstein of Superior, David Fierstein of Ravenna, Susan Musil (Rex) of Ravenna, Tim Fierstein (Penny) of Goshen and Terry Fierstein of Grand Island; and her sister Fauneil Finke. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (324 Kufus Ave, Ravenna, NE 68869). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Ravenna EMTs, and the Ravenna Senior Center.
