He was predeceased by: his father David McDowell. He is survived by: his mother Karen McDowell (Gifstad) of Ravenna; his former wives, Kristi Swanson and Shari Hunsberger; his children, Brett McDowell (Deborah) of Columbus, NE, Jennifer Lawless (Dustin) of Ravenna, Carley McDowell of Grand Island, NE and Lisa McDowell of Ravenna; and his brothers, Paul McDowell (Kim) of Ravenna and Bruce McDowell (Meredith) of Ravenna. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
