She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Ummel and Nora Ummel (Parkhurst); her husband Lauren Mason; her brother Clarence (Ick); and her sister-in-law Sylvia Ummel.
She is survived by: her son Charles (Chuck); her daughter-in-law Jackie Mason; and her grandchildren, Bryan Mason and Lindsey Ansbach (Matt). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, four step-grandsons, five step-great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials are suggested to the Mason City Cemetery Foundation, 1st Baptist Church at Mason City or the Homeward Trails Bible Camp at Mason City.
