He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Ella Dean McCauley (Pepper) and Robert Smith McCauley; and his son Randy McCauley. He is survived by: his children, Deb McKeon, Pam Jenness and Mick McKeon; his grandchildren, Shari, Tom Spaulding, Nate, Misty Bailey, Christine Bailey, Simon Valderez, Anthony Jenness, Angela Jenness, Jack Bailey and Arron Jenness; his sister-in-law Betty Marshall; and his niece Valerie (Greg Delerosa).
