He was predeceased by: his parents, Furman Russell and Myrna Russell; his daughter Karen; his grandchild Parker; and his brother TJ.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Rathjen; his son Thomas of Seattle, Washington; his friend Ken Fisher; his grandsons, Tyson and Zeke Kohl of Malcolm; and his siblings-in-law, Jan Russell, Bob Rathjen (Sondra), Russ Rathjen (Marilyn) and Jeanene Melton.
