He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Ashley Kueter and Wade Sullivan; and his brother Ronnie Sullivan. He is survived by: his spouses, Judith Starkel and Judy; his children, Patrick Sullivan of Norfolk and Mary Rupprecht (Ron) of Clarkson; his grandchildren, Nicole Sullivan, Erika Rupprecht, Rachel Rupprecht, Caleb Sullivan, Bethany Rupprecht and Bridget Rupprecht; his brothers, Rich Sullivan (Kathy) of Norfolk and Gene Sullivan (Jo) of Randolph; and his sister-in-law Lynette Sullivan of Norfolk.
