It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Corinne Helsing of Randolph, Nebraska, born in Valparaiso, Nebraska, who passed away on March 25, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Palmer and Abbie Palmer (Housel); her husband Merlin Wendell Helsing; her grandson Matthew Brodersen; her great grandchild Benjamin Sauser; and her siblings, Diane Wing, Marla Chrastil, Art Palmer, Owen Palmer and Gary Palmer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheryl Rehurek (Dave) of Yankton, SD, Lori Schutte (Paul) of Wisner, Julie Sauser (Mike) of Plainview, Kathy Arens (Kevin) of Lincoln, Corinne Schmit (Paul) of Randolph and Jennifer Reineke (Jeremy) of Gretna; her siblings, Jim Palmer (Pam) of Lincoln and Harriet Ruebsamen of Lincoln; her brother-in-law Ron; and her grandmother Helsing of Lincoln. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
