He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Louis and Jane Elaine Weltruski (Schuchhardt); his parents-in-law, Raymond and Margaret Choyeski; his brother Joe Weltruski; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Kleffner, Dave Weverka and Joseph Choyeski.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine "Jo" Weltruski of Primrose, NE; his children, Ron (Michelle), Susan Esch (Eric Roach) of Cedar Rapids, NE, Dennis Weltruski (Melissa) of Spalding, NE and Jeff Weltruski (Sandy) of Spalding, NE; his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Belle, Brynlee, Connor Weltruski, Hylee (Dakota Sharar), Chris (Alisha Dahlberg), Lizzie Esch, McKenna Woodson (James), Aaron, Kristen, Ryan Weltruski, Ashley, Tessa, Kyla and Lacey Weltruski; his great grandchild McKenzie Dozler; his sisters, Connie Kleffner of Spalding, NE, Priscilla Weltruski of Columbus, NE and Pauline Dunfee (Jerry) of Columbus, NE; and his sisters-in-law, Jan Smith (Bill) of St. Edward, NE and Gladys Choyeski of Cedar Rapids, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Levander Funeral Home (308 W Marengo St, Albion, NE 68620). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (319 S 5th St, Albion, NE 68620).
