He was predeceased by: his parents, August Heidemann and Lulu Heidemann (Kellner); his wife Carolyn Pickett; his siblings, Kenneth and Orleatha Onigkeit; and his granddaughter Tara Appleby.
He is survived by: his children, Deanne Harker (Chris) of Wamsutter, WY, Jeanine Heidemann of Potter, Burdett Heidemann (Heidi) of Lincoln, NE, Troy Heidemann of Potter, NE and Robin Harmon (Rex) of Sturgis, SD. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grand children and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Merlyn's name to the Prairie West Church in Potter.
