He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Sr. Kneifl and Agnes Kneifl (Strauss) of Newcastle, NE.; his siblings, Don Sr., Nick Sr., Terry, Bob, Joanne McGinty, Betty Pettit and Shirley Hoffert; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry McGinty, Ron Pettit, Don Hoffert, Keith Cobb, Ed Jones and Ray Deabler.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Kneifl of Ponca, NE; his sisters, Carol Minor of Oceanside, CA, Linda Deabler of Sioux City, IA, Mary Jones, South and Jeanne Fucsher (Duane) of Porter, TX; his sisters-in-law, Mary Kneifl (Don Sr.) of Lincoln, NE and Kim Kneifl (Bob) of Ponca, NE; his niece Edie; and his nephew Joe Dunn. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews.
